During this week, I learned how to use Google to find the answer that you wanted on books. First type the title of your book in the search box. Then when the results popped up, you'll get a lot of results for the book you wanted. In fact, you can even find summaries of the book on some website. It even may guide you to the author's page and even a part of the author's website that is dedicated to that specific book. And most website listed the important information about the book. The term can even help you find excerpts of the book and the other books in the series because of the book title.

In the tenth week of my media lesson, I learned which books to discard and which one to keep and which one should go to the book hospital. This depends on their popularity, and on what year are the books published. If a book is too outdated, it'll be discarded, especially if it's nonfiction when new information could be found. But sometimes if it is too popular with a lot of people checking it out, there may be a chance that the library will keep it. But also sometimes if there is one copy, the book will may have to wait to go to discarding. Another reason if a book can go discard is if too many people didn't bother checking out a specific book. The reason instead of waiting out, is that a lot of new books are coming and the unread will clutter up the shelves and be junk.
In this week of media lesson, I learned how the WEEBLY website is graded. And I also learned what the purpose of the media lessons and the reading blog is for. The reason to create the reading blog is for about the books in the library. It's done so people might want to read it. But the blogs is not about the summary of the book, it's about the starting beginning and leaving a cliffhanger so people would want to read it. The reason for the media lessons is because visitors might know what the assistants learned in the media center.
In this week of media lesson I learned that to save some documents while your creating and putting new stuff on a website, you have to create a google doc for it. Doc stands for Google Document and a good thing about it is that it automatically saved what your activity is on it. Once your finished with what your doing, labeled it because the google docs always says UNTITLED DOCUMENT. The reason to change the title because it there are too much of that titled, you'll probably get confused and select the wrong one. After you are finished with whatever activity, go to the navigator. Once there, click on files and click on upload files. It'll opened to your folders on googles file and then click on the file you want. This should lead you to download the file into the navigator. Once your done, you'll be all set.
It's the seventh week of my lessons in the media center. This week I learned how to place images on the website you wanted to be on and how it will stay there permanently for the time being, First, download the pictures you wanted to put on the chosen website, like your Weebly or a self editing website. But make sure the picture has permission granted for putting on other website, because without permission, it'll be considered illegal. Anyway, download the picture to your folder and name the topic or picture. The reason for that is because you'll get confused and accidentally select the wrong one. On Weebly, if you need a picture build a image box and upload the pictures from your folder. While other website putting pictures on it may require you to pull or create a file. Download the pictures onto the file and then pull the image out. The pictures then will stay on there.
In the sixth week of my media lessons, I learned that the term scavenger definition depends on how it is used. In animal term, it means that there are other animals that doesn't hunt, instead it feeds on other dead animals carcass. In treasure hunt, it means to gather objects to win a prize. But there are also many other terms in many subjects. I also learned how to use the Check in/ Check out process. First, you reset the computer, then entered the your ID. Then either scan the bar-code of the book or type in the books ID. Then reset again.
In this week of media lesson, I learned how to add another row of table to a graph. I also learned how to use the book information to add to the key terms of the books and how to write it on the internet . If you're going to write about a book on the internet, be sure to include the genre, characters, setting, point of view, and the character(s) conflict. If you're going to add another row without the line, click on the toolbar, and click on table. Then, depends on where you want to put the table at, click on before if you want the row to be in front of you, click on after if you want to put the table at the back of you.
In the fourth week of Media, I learned many new things. I learn how to create a link and it's not part of plagiarism. First highlight the word of the object you want to find out about and find a website that contains the information about it. ( That is if it's real.) Then copy the website address and when you go back to the highlighted words, there will be a toolbar, there is a insert button. Click on the button and on the first bar it says "Link". Click on it and paste the website address on it. The words then will be linked to the website.
In this week of media lessons, I learned how to create a Reading Blog. First hit new posts on Weebly, Then choose the book you wanted to do on. Reading Blog doesn't means you write a summary about the book. Instead you write about the beginning of the book and create a suspense. There has to be a image, but cannot be gotten out of Google. The reason is that the image can be called plagiarism
During the second week of my media class, I learned media lessons. The entire group ;learned how to shelved and organize up to standards. There are three steps to do the shelving, SHELVE,STRAIGHTENED, and FRONTED. Also, there is call numbers on each book, stating what shelf do they go on. There is one way to find a book that you wanted. First go to the section of the authors last name. When you had reach the shelf, there are sections in the shelf that divides books. The shelf is like a book and should be read like one, left to right, up to down and so on. After you had finished the shelf, go to the one on the other side. Again, do the same process.
