And during the ceremony in December The 3 new details I found out today is that the people in the community has to take pills for something called the Stirring, At each age from 1-12, there's a trend for each age to realize maturity. And at every December, there is a ceremony for babies to be adopted and is treated as a holiday. The 2 interesting things are that Jonas has decide to try a variety of volunteers job and there is a nursing home. The 1 question I have is what it mean by Released? A compare and contrast that me and Jonas have is the point of view. An idea of this is when Jonas has sees an apple differently, like a changed apple, while his friend Asher, sees it as a bruised, plain apple. A comparison of this is when I saw a shelf that looked a adequate good, shelf, while a friend of mine sees the shelf as a battered, useless thing. I have started a new book called the Giver by Lois Lowry. The 3 new details I have founded out in this book is that every December there is a ceremony that determines babies, and a rule that state that each household should have 1 male and 1 female child, and I also learned that there's a new boy in Jonas sister class. The 2 interesting parts is when a pilot flew over Jonas's school and the people make a huge deal about it and Jonas's friend Asher, always make the same excuse everytime that he's tardy. The 1 question I have is what do they mean by released? My characters have been contradict from their previous behavior. One of them is Roy's dad and he usually wanted to Roy to focus on School. I think he let Roy go to the protest against the construction company is because he realizes how important it is to Roy and how important nature is. This decision change the novel by letting Roy helped Beatrice and her brother to be successful. Two important memory moments in this book is when Beatrice and her mother keep on getting into fight because this shows why Beatrice is outgoing and why she is attached to Mullet Fingers. Another memory moment is when Officer Delinko keeps on trying to make up for his slip-up. This is important because he's obsessed with it and want to catch the culprit who's messing up the site. Officer Delinko event is necessary because when he is assigned to patrol the site, he realizes what will happen to the owls. This is important because he might look the other way when Mullet Fingers sabotage the site. A situation that keeps on happening is that Roy is standing up against Dana Matherson and Dana keep on getting caught and is usually facing trouble, like getting strap up by his underpants and getting sent to juvie. The answer is different this time because the conflict between Roy and Dana kept on happening and this time it's about people, not situation nor words. |
